SkillWarz is Coming to Steam!
We’re happy to finally announce that SkillWarz is now live on Steam as a “Coming Soon” title! 🎉 You can add the game to your wishlist right now, and it really helps a ton. Wishlists tell Steam that people are interested, which boosts visibility and lets more players discover the game – so thank you if you’ve already added it!
Release Date Not Set in Stone 🗓️
The release date isn’t set in stone just yet. A lot depends on how smoothly things go with server setup, cross-platform integration, and the mobile launch. Our current plan is to start playtesting on Steam shortly after the mobile version launches on Google Play.
Right now, we’re busy getting servers and account systems up and running. It’s a bit of a puzzle since different platforms have different rules – some (like Steam and CrazyGames) have their own account systems, others have none at all. We’re working on a unified system that supports web, mobile, and desktop play.
What’s Already in the Game?
Here’s what’s already playable in SkillWarz:
- ⚔️ 5 game modes (Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Gun Game, Team Gun Game, Skull Hunt)
- 🗺️ 20+ diverse maps
- 🎯 10 different weapons
- 🧱 6 unique classes
- 🤖 Offline bot support
- 🕹️ Controls tuned for both keyboard/mouse and touch
- 🔁 Cross-platform play between web, mobile, and desktop
More features and content will be added as we move toward release. The Steam version will be a blend of the current main game and the Legacy Edition, offering the best of both worlds.
What Makes the Steam Version Special?
The Steam version will have a few extras:
- 🧭 An extra map rotation with more detailed maps
- ⚙️ Some extra features that aren’t feasible on web or mobile
- 💻 Support for Steam-exclusive features down the road (like achievements and Workshop)
